Conformance target
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. This is an ongoing effort and some areas may not yet fully conform.
What we do
- Semantic, structured HTML with clear headings and landmarks.
- Colour combinations checked for contrast — our core ink and off-white pairings exceed a 15:1 ratio; orange is reserved for large text and accents.
- Keyboard access to interactive elements, with visible focus.
- Text alternatives for meaningful images, and decorative graphics hidden from assistive technology.
- Responsive layouts that reflow down to small screens without loss of content.
- Motion and animation are reduced automatically when your device requests reduced motion.
Known limitations
- Some third-party embeds (maps, video) may not fully meet our standard; we are reviewing alternatives.
- Older blog content may lack complete image descriptions; we are updating it.
- Decorative background animations are cosmetic only and are not required to use the site.
